In a world where our profession is largely disparaged, we are proud to recognize animal care and control professionals for the outstanding work they do through the various MaSA Awards and recognition.

 

For excellence in training, MaSA recognizes two academic achievements-

 

Distinguished Graduate is a recognition presented to certification training participants who completes a three-day or longer certification training program with a GPA of 100%.

 

Honor Graduate is a recognition presented to a certification training participant who completes a three-day or longer certification training program with a GPA of 95- 99%.

 

The Meritorious Service Award is awarded to nominated candidates who have demonstrated dedication, selfless service and superior performance in animal care and control duties. Contact MaSA for Meritorious Service Award nomination information.

 

The MaSA Founders Award is presented in honor of its founding members Sherry Wilmishir and Shirley Phillips. The MaSA Founders Award is awarded to nominated candidates who have demonstrated excellence is animal welfare service, whose dedication and performance have made a significant impact on the humane treatment of animals, and to the animal care and control profession.
