Welcome to Midwest Animal Services Academy

Midwest Animal Services was established in 2001 as a non-profit animal welfare organization, whose focus was on animal rescue and placement. It evolved and branched out to providing animal welfare training in 2002. MaSA became a Missouri- based Limited Liability Company in 2017 under its new executive director JT Taylor. Still operating with the guidance of an Advisory Board that consists of eight animal care and control professionals and veterinarians, and under the direction of an executive director, MaSA instructors now provide training and consultation services throughout Missouri and the Midwestern states. MaSA has an administrative staff that includes an Administrative Assistant; Director of Education; and Director of Communications and Information Technologies, and an instructor corps who are trained and experienced in classroom and field training environments.
