What do certifications provide?
Certification provides proof of training and qualifications. It greatly improves an animal care and control professionals’ credibility in court proceedings and satisfies the courts Presumption of Efficiency that the animal care and control professional is in fact trained and qualified to perform their duties. MaSA is a regional training organization which maintains a regional registry of its certified animal care and control professionals. Certification graduates receive a Certificate of Qualification which includes their registry identification number. Qualified graduates may also receive honors as a distinguished graduate or honor graduate based on the final score of their specific certification examination.
